In a first for Elian’s British School, La Nucia, the primary section is holding special assemblies in which its younger students can show off what they have been learning to their families. The first of these took place on Tuesday, October 24th and was an opportunity for children in Year 3 to share their learning about the ancient Egyptians. They did so in the form of a musical play involving colourful costumes; songs and dance routines.
The two classes involved, 3A and 3B, thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the production and were full of enthusiasm for their topic. The entire project was directed and coordinated by Miss Kyla Smith (3A class teacher) and Mr Daniel Nicholson (3B class teacher). Those who watched the show could see how proud the children were of what they had achieved.
