Elian’s British School La Nucía enjoys a privileged position. Located in a quiet residential area, the purpose-built school boasts sea and mountain views. The site itself covers 25,000 square metres with an outdoor 20 metre swimming pool, tennis courts, multi-purpose courts and play areas.
It has a staff of more than 80 workers and its classes are taught by qualified native teachers, who ensure that each of their students obtains the best possible results.
In addition to the teaching staff, the bilingual school has support assistants, an educational psychologist, kitchen staff and nursing service.
The school operates a positive ethos policy, which includes regular reinforcement of good behaviour and acknowledgement of success. This is effective in developing a collective responsibility for each other and for the school environment.
The development of the whole child is of great importance. All students are regarded as individuals and are encouraged to reach their full potential irrespective of academic ability, social background or race. In doing so, the aim is to nurture and develop happy, confident, motivated and self-disciplined children who are considerate, tolerant and sensitive to the needs of others.
The British education system at Elian’s La Nucía not only ensures that your child is bilingual in English and Spanish, but it also develops open, creative and dynamic minds helping students to work hard to achieve their goals.
All the classrooms have digital whiteboards, projectors and technical equipment. Every year technology advances and, for this reason, our group is constantly improving the level of technology and providing the schools with new resources.
